Made of natural wool, unbleached; a slight wool smell is normal.
Wash with warm water and a neutral detergent, then air dry before storing.
Before first use, soak the bristles in warm water until they are completely soaked (pay special attention to ensuring the center of the bristles is thoroughly soaked); then remove any loose bristles before use to minimize shedding.
Soaking the bristles before each use prevents splitting and unevenness.
Do not expose to high temperatures during washing and use.
